The B&K Precision 9803B is a powerful, programmable AC power source with 750 VA output power, which is particularly suitable for test applications with medium power requirements. Typical areas of application include product development, test benches, electrical component tests and pre-compliance measurements in accordance with IEC 61000-4 standards.
The integrated functionality such as Power Line Disturbance (PLD) simulation, List Mode for complex signal sequences as well as Dimmer simulation and Frequency/Voltage sweeps enable realistic simulation of mains disturbances and dynamic behavior. The 9803B can be conveniently controlled remotely via USB, RS232 or LAN. A GPIB interface is available as an option if required (item no.: BK9803).

Compared to the compact 9801, the 9803B offers a significantly higher output power (750 VA vs. 300 VA) and therefore also larger current reserves - ideal for more demanding loads. The 9805B goes one step further with 1500 VA. While all models support USB, RS232 and LAN as standard, only the 9803 and 9805 offer GPIB as an option. So if you need high performance and maximum connection options, go for the 9805B. For medium performance and a compact design, the 9803B is the ideal compromise.
