The 8612 model of the 8600/B series combines high performance with an extended voltage range up to 500 V. It is ideal for testing high-voltage sources, including industrial power supplies, battery management systems and PV modules. The electronic load offers extensive functions such as CR-LED mode for LED simulation and an integrated battery test mode for automated capacity testing.

Control can be conveniently carried out via the front panel or via USB, RS232 or (on model 8612 without "B") GPIB. The 3U form factor with optimized cooling allows reliable continuous load tests. Thanks to its high accuracy and fast transient processing, this model is ideal for development, quality assurance and production.

The 8612 is aimed at users with high-voltage requirements and is therefore the counterpart to the 8610, which covers the same power range at a maximum voltage of 120 V. While the 8610 model works with higher currents, the 8612 focuses on applications with higher voltage requirements at a lower current of max. 30 A. The 8614 is suitable for even higher power capacities with 240 A current consumption, while the 8610 or 8616 may also be of interest if 120 V operating voltage is required.
